If you need to, you can delete a qualifier. Deleting a qualifier removes any attribute values for the qualifier, and removes the qualifier from the Z39.50 set. If you remove a qualifier from a Z39.50 set that is already assigned to a Z39.50 search target, Portfolio will not use that qualifier to interpret specific pieces of data from a Z39.50 search target.
To delete a qualifier
| 1 | Login to the Admin console. |
| 2 | Choose Z39.50 Sets from the navigation pane. |
| 3 | Choose the Edit Qualifiers option next to the Z39.50 set for which you want to delete a qualifier. |
| 4 | Choose the Delete option next to the qualifier that you want to delete. |
| 5 | When prompted, choose OK to delete the qualifier, or choose Cancel to discard your changes. |
